Do you remember the first time you encountered Jesus or heard about him? Everyone at one point in their life will have an encounter with Jesus. No matter how you have met Jesus, it’s not just the encounter but the realization that what you have encountered is precious.

Today’s study will be in Mark 2, where we read of a story of a man who encountered Jesus. Here in this story, we see different groups that have encountered Jesus. The four men and the paralytic, the teachers of religious law, and the crowd. Each had an encounter with Jesus, but their responses were different.
